Be ready for anything!

Be ready for anything!

In B104, we often step out of our comfort zones. But we're happy to do it, because it's the only way to grow!

Be confident.

Be confident.

Make sure you use positive self-talk. Tell yourself that you can do it, and you will be able to do anything you set your mind to!

Just do it!

Just do it!

Without taking initiative, without picking up that pencil, without raising that hand, without trying your best, you'll never get anywhere. Get started NOW!

Remember your manners!

Remember your manners!

In B104, we are polite to each other, we take care of each other, and we take care of our classroom. Remember to say please and thanks, to hold doors for people, and to keep the halls and classrooms clean. And be friendly--know and use your classmates' names.

Others have important things to say!

Others have important things to say!

Take your turn in B104. Share the important ideas that you have, but remember that others have good ideas, too. When others are sharing, LISTEN. Pay attention to your classmates, and don't interrupt. In B104, we learn from each other!

Cheers!

Cheers!

Cheer on your classmates. When they do something well, let them know. When they need help, give it to them. A "thumbs-up" can motivate someone to try one more time. You never know when your encouragement will turn someone's day around.

The Golden Rule

The Golden Rule

Remember: what goes around comes around. Good things will come back to you when you treat others well.

Every person deserves your kindness.

Every person deserves your kindness.

You may not agree with everything she says. You may not like everything he does. You might not want to hang around with them. However, being a good citizen means being kind to them anyway.

You DO matter!

You DO matter!

When each day is done, you should be able to look back and say you did your best, you learned something new, and you did something to make the world a better place!
